We’ll have a bigger post later in the week giving game-by-game previews for the first weekend of WPIAL playoff football. The brackets were announced tonight and here’s a quick look at how they break down. The games will be at 7:30pm on Friday November 5th at the higher seeded team’s school, unless otherwise noted. Because we’re self-centered n’at, we’ll also let you know how well our preseason predictions stacked up against the actual results.
On the whole, we correctly predicted 54 of 64 playoff teams at the beginning of the year. We also correctly predicted 22 of the 32 top seeds that will be hosting home playoff games this weekend. Check back later in the week and we’ll have game-by game previews for all the first round WPIAL playoff games.
