Happy Gameday Cougs, and a big thanks again to the Cougs on the ground for this week’s ESPN broadcast.  Good positioning yet again, and a great job all the way around…..

Great positioning front and center for the show, you just can’t miss those flags.  Thanks as always to Will Walker for his screencaps, and you can see all of them here at his Google+ page.  And if you were wondering?  It’s now 123 Gameday shows where Ol’ Crimson and friends have made an appearance!  Unreal.

Moving on to something strange, anyone see this animated gif of UW defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox from the Stanford game?

Mmmmm, defense!

Just uh…..yeah.  Weird.  Granted he had reason to be in ecstasy given that his UW D held a pretty awful looking Stanford offense to 13 points.  But still….anyway, thanks to our own Soze for linking that up from the Big Lead.

As far as links go, Christian Caple has a decent look at the game today, plus this round-up of links from Cougcenter should get you going in the right direction for pre-game stuff.

Caple’s article is interesting in that when you really look at what Oregon does, you can understand the boatload of concerns for the Cougs, especially on D.  Mike Leach is quoted as saying that Oregon’s offense preys on teams that don’t get lined up correctly on defense (did YA SEE the mistakes late vs. Colorado!?!?!?).  Gulp.  Better be sound AND smart from the get-go tonight!

But hey, it’s a new day.  Just another chance to turn it all around….?

Whatever.  Just enjoy the game tonight, and as always, GO COUGS!
