Despite being retired from the ring for several years now, the accolades continue to roll in for former WWE star and Champion Beth Phoenix, as she was amongst the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class.
In addition to the Hall of Fame, Phoenix returned to call the second WWE Mae Young Classic, which aired on WWE Network this past summer, and she competed in the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match, making her the only wrestler to have participated in both the men’s and women’s matches, having previously competed in the men’s match during her time as an active WWE in-ring competitor.
The official Twitter account of The Dan Gable Museum has just announced another big accomplishment for Beth Phoenix, as she is set to join The George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2019.
“CEILING SHATTERED! @TheBethPhoenix will be the first woman inducted into the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame. All-access passes are available for ONLY $100 through the end of the year. Contact the @wrestlingmuseum at 319-233-0745 or [email protected].”
