Most Shocking Moment
On October 22, 2018, Universal Champion Roman Reigns approached the ring wearing street clothes. In typical fashion, the WWE Universe greeted Reigns with an enormous level of jeers.
However, there was something different about this promo. The jeers quickly turned to shock and awe when Reigns announced that his leukemia has return from remission, and he is now forced to vacate the Universal Championship. The fans then realized the gravity of the matter, and their jeers turned to “Thank you, Roman!” chants.
Roman closed the promo thanking the fans and WWE for giving him an opportunity when he was at a rock-bottom point in his life, and promised to return to the ring after beating leukemia.
