Superstar of the Year: AJ Styles
AJ Styles has been the premiere workhorse on WWE for 2018. In November of 2017, Styles was able to defeat Jinder Mahal to once again become WWE Champion. Styles was able to keep the title for an astonishing 371 days before losing it to Daniel Bryan on November 13, 2018, just days before Survivor Series.
During Styles’ latest WWE Champion reign, he was able to rack up big wins against names such as Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rusev, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn. He was also able to successfully defend his title at the March 11, 2018 Fastlane pay-per-view, in a six-pack challenge match against Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, John Cena, Baron Corbin, and Dolph Ziggler.
