Earlier today, WWE held its first-ever NXT UK Takeover Blackpool event, featuring the stars of the NXT UK brand competing in multiple title matches and more. Below are complete results from today’s WWE Network special.
-James Drake and Zack Gibson defeated Mustache Mountain to become the inaugural NXT UK Tag Team Champions.
-Jordan Devlin vs Travis Banks never began as Devlin attacked Banks before the match began. This prompted GM Johnny Saint to restart the match, and announce a new opponent for Devlin, WWE Raw star Finn Balor. Balor picked up the win in the match after hitting the Coupe De Grace.
-Dave Mastiff defeated Eddie Dennis in a No DQ match.
[lawrence-related id=871383]-Toni Storm defeated Rhea Ripley to become the new NXT UK Women’s Champion.
-Pete Dunne defeated Joe Coffey to retain the NXT UK Title. After the match, independent star WALTER hit the ring and made his WWE NXT UK debut. The show went off the air with WALTER and Pete Dunne staring each other down, after WALTER nailed Joe Coffey with a big boot.
Following the event, WWE released several fallout videos, the first featuring Toni Storm reacting to her big Title win over Rhea Ripley.
WWE also realeased a video featuring Pete Dunne reacting to his successful Title defense. During the video, Dunne comments on returning to Blackpool as Champion, what it means to have held his gold for so long in the NXT UK brand, his newborn baby and much more.

Finally, WWE uploaded a fallout video featuring Finn Balor commenting on his surprise appearance in Blackpool. Balor discussed mentoring his opponent Jordan Devlin early in his career, and offered high praise for Devlin, calling him the future of the brand.
Following today’s special, it looks like Pete Dunne’s next Title challenger might have been determined, as international Superstar WALTER finally made his long-awaited debut in WWE. In the video below, you can check out WALTER and Dunne’s staredown Which ended today’s Takeover special.
