WWE Sources Reportedly Claim The Revival Could Be Leaving The Company

The revival

WWE Raw tag team The Revival, comprised of Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson, have been relegated to a minor, comedic role on the Monday night brand since being called up to the main roster, a vast change from how the team was used on the NXT brand.

Most recently, the team has been involved in a feud against Lucha House Party on Raw, which has seen Dash and Dawson put through the ringer of confusing Lucha rules bouts, leaving The Revival on the constant losing end of tag team matches. This week on Raw, The Revival were finally able to get a win over the group of Lucha Libre stars.

According to a new report from Fightful, following some sort of incident backstage at Raw this week, The Revival could be on their way out of WWE.

“I’m careful to make sure not to say they outright asked for their releases, as I wasn’t told explicitly that’s what happened,” reads the Fightful report. “Instead, I was told “has reason to be very fearful that The Revival are done or finishing up with the company” after a situation unfolded at WWE Raw.”

The report adds that The Revival would likely sign with All Elite Wrestling if the team does in fact leave WWE, but it should be stressed that as of this writing the team remains contracted to WWE and no releases have been granted and it has not been confirmed that a release was asked for by Dash and Dawson.

With The Revival finally picking up a win over Lucha House Party on Raw this week, the tag team was reportedly in line for a push on the red brand, but plans for the push could change at a moments notice depending on the severity of what took place backstage at Raw this week.
