Not even twelve hours after the Kansas City Royals won the World Series, WWE Superstar-turned-WWE-executive Triple H (real name Paul Levesque) tweeted that the company would be awarding the team with their own championship belt.

Recently, a number of Major Leaguers (including Adam Jones, Max Scherzer and Clayton Kershaw) have been caught flashing their own hardware. During the Boston Red Sox 2013 victory parade, then-champ John Cena loaned his to David Ortiz.
Now, I’m not really sure how or when the tradition started but I sure am glad it did.
