Fresh off their sold out show at XKO 26, Arlington based promotion Xtreme Knockout has put together another incredible fight card for their XKO 27 card in September. On September 12, XKO 27 will take place at the sterling Gas Monkey Live. The promotion has vowed to address the seating and sight line woes that plagued their previous show at the venue and fight fans can expect a much more fan-friendly experience this time around.
Chief among this initiative is the fight card itself. One of the reasons that Xtreme Knockout has held the title of longest-running MMA promotion in North Texas is due to their steadfast mission of putting on incredible fight cards. XKO 27 will be no different in that respect and features one of the most anticipated title fights in recent memory.
Headlining XKO 27 will be a welterweight title fight pitting two emerging talents in Texas MMA in Geoffrey Neal (5-1) taking on the undefeated Kevin Holland (4-0). Neal has been in the cage against top flight competition and the Legacy Fighting Championship veteran has amassed a large following behind his relentless attack. Holland is a rising star in the sport and he brash young fighter out of Fort Worth is coming off a huge victory against Victor Reyna at XKO 26 and has created an incredible following behind his energetic attitude and unwavering confidence. This fight has explosion written all over it.
Additionally, XKO 27 marks the highly anticipated return of fan favorite Ciprian Hangan who is scheduled to fight Allen Nelson in what may be one of the most action packed fights to hit the cage. With neither fighter understanding the meaning of “backing up” fans can expect a war. Despite being out of action for a couple of years Hangan’s considerable judo talents and heavy hands make him a danger. Nelson is coming off an absolute war against Michael Saunders at XKO 26 and the native of San Antonio has never been in a boring fight.
Tickets for XKO 27 are priced to sell with general admission seats priced at $35. Cageside tickets will only run you $60 and VIP tables will run $250.
