The Third Greatest NHL Player of All Time has just released his own brand of wine, and of course it's merlot.
From the Shawn Thornton Foundation Facebook page:
We've partnered with the Boston Winery to offer the new Merlot Line for $22 a bottle with all proceeds directly benefiting the Shawn Thornton Foundation. The Merlot Line is now available at the following Greater Boston locations:
North End: Monica's, J Pace, Cirace & Sons, Hanover Street Liquors
West Roxbury/JP/Revere: Blanchards
Worcester/Shrewsbury: Austin Liquors
Westborough: Julio's
Not sure about you but we're off to buy a whole case of them. Hopefully we'll have reason to bust them open come Game 6.
