Watching Monday Night Football is getting tougher and tougher to watch. I mean, don’t get me wrong. The NFL’s great, the games are captivating, and the combination of Tirico, Jaws and Chucky in the booth are as good as any commentators I’ve seen in a long time. But there’s just something about Matt Millen’s face on the pre-game and post-game analysis that makes me want to deliver a fist right to his suck hole. And there’s nothing he can do to work on it.

Matt Millen is un-arguabley the worst GM in the history of sports, so his football credibility is about as good as Cameron Diaz’ in “Any Given Sunday.” I can’t decide if watching him do analysis and evaluations is hilarious or depressing. It’s such an emotional roller-coaster. One minute you’ll be getting a cheap laugh at the dead rat on his upper lip and wondering what the hell ESPN was smoking and/or drinking when they hired him, and the next minute you’ll be shedding a tear thinking about how he ran the Lions into the ground.
It’s not fair. He had literally the worst record as a GM in National Football League history. He made draft picks year-in, year-out using a dartboard, and now I have to watch him and both of his chins yucking it up with Stu Scott and Steve Young every Monday, acting like he knows what the hell he’s talking about.
Working for ESPN has always been my dream job. Thanks for the hope, Matt Millen.
