While playing a show at Wrigley Field in 2013, they welcomed “Mr. Cub” to the stage. Later that summer, while in Pittsburgh, they trotted out then-Pirates closer Jason Grilli.

Fittingly, it was after Eddie Vedder requested his “uke” for solo performance of “Sleeping by Myself” that former Boston Red Sox star Kevin Youkilis (complete with Loma Brew cap) emerged and delivered the tiny guitar. Earlier in the evening, it was Youk’s former teammate (and no stranger to the stage) Bronson Arroyo who joined the band on guitar for “Black”.

Pearl Jam hits the BeanTown stage in for a second night on Sunday. Later in August, they’ll be back at Wrigley and it’s anyone’s guest who might join them there.
