Speaking of injuries, forward Jae Crowder suffered a sprained right ankle in the loss to Houston and said it was a “high ankle sprain.” Ainge told the Globe he doesn’t believe the injury is that serious after Crowder received an MRI on Saturday.
I’m a little hesitant to high-five myself because we’ve seen other Celtics players – Marcus Smart (knee) and Kelly Olynyk (shoulder) – miss significant time with injuries that didn’t set off alarm bells immediately.
So while Danny says it’s not that serious, I’m still expecting Jae to miss a few games.
