Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
Mickael Pietrus: "A lot of teams are interested in me, like the Lakers or the Celtics. This came from the best player in the world: Kobe Bryant. He told me two months ago that he would like to see me with the Lakers.
L'Equipe (via Hoops Hype)
The 29-year old Pietrus is still under contract with Phoenix. He exercised a $5.3 million option at the end of the season. He was traded from Orlando in the Marcin Gortat/Jason Richardson swap.
There's speculation the Suns want to move him because of a surplus of swingmen; Jared Dudley and Josh Childress are both under contract and Grant Hill is expected to re-sign.
I like his game. He can defend and shoot the three. What would it take to pry him from Phoenix? I have no idea.
If anyone can speak or read French, please peruse the L'Equipe article and pass along any relevant information in the comments. Merci.
