Your Morning Dump… Where camp competition will be great this year

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here…
highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as
satisfying as a good morning dump.

The evaluation process rolls on, and expect more bodies to shuttle in
and out of the Sports Authority Training Center as the Celtics look to
build the best all-around 15-man roster.

Ainge hesitated to say that camp will feature more spice this year than
previous years, but he did agree competition will be fierce.

"I think every camp [promotes competition]," Ainge said.

"I don't know
if this one will be any different. There's competition for minutes,
competition for roster spots and competition to get into the rotation.
The competition will be great this year."

Aside from a bunch of guys (Adam Morrison, Rashad McCants, Cuttino Mobley, Trenton Hassell, Oliver Lafayette, Tony Gaffney) fighting for the final few roster spots, there will be competition for minutes in Doc's rotation.

Four players – Marquis Daniels, Delonte West, Von Wafer and Avery Bradley -  are vying for the prime back-up wing positions. Nate Robinson should have a lock on the back-up point guard role, but Delonte could sneak in there, as well.

Luke Harangody might push Glen Davis. And Shaq might come to camp with the goal of showing Doc Rivers that he should start over Jermaine O'Neal.

One thing to remember about Doc, you have to earn your minutes all season long and not just in training camp. Ask Marquis and Nate.
