Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big story line. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.

This is a devastating loss for basketball. Moses Malone was not only a legend, but a recurring nightmare for the Boston Celtics.
My favorite Malone story is the “fo fo fo” quote… When he was asked prior to the 1983 playoffs what his prediction was, he said “fo fo fo,” predicting three series sweeps. He was almost right, too, as Philly only lost one game in the Conference Semifinals.
This is all too fresh for me to write a proper reaction. Moses was only 60 years old. The guy played until he was almost 40… so it still feels like he only retired a few years ago.
This is just a sad day for basketball.
