Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
“I was playing pickup, and I reached in trying to get a steal and my arm got stuck,” he said. “I kind of got a shock from the feeling, but I’m fine. I’ve been going back to Boston every month to meet with the doctor, and he tells me what to do.
“The elbow is fine now. It hasn’t given me any problems, but I also haven’t been in a lot of basketball situations yet.”
Herald: Rondo shaping up to be ready
I assume when Rondo says his arm got stuck he means it got caught between a couple of people or something like that. Which means he was probably gambling again and he was reaching in.
Same ol' Rondo.
But his elbow is fine and he'll be ready to go once this thing that I'm not going to mention right now ends and we can get back to playing basketball. And Rondo was nice enough to give us a brief scouting report on JaJuan Johnson:
“He’s a better shooter than I thought,” Rondo said. “He has KG range, which is saying something. He was very aggressive with the ball.”
I don't know if it's the lack of basketball or what, but that statement gets me irrationally excited. I guess the mere talk of anything basketball that doesn't have to do with revenue gets me irrationally excited.
