Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
“Just to hit that first shot and get my momentum going was huge for me,” Harangody said. “My teammates have been behind me this whole time, so it’s been great.
“Tonight was probably the first night I felt the most comfortable out there and could just kind of be me. You know, I finally relaxed. You could probably see that. Everyone could probably see that. It finally felt good to be out there and have some fun.”
And while the Celtics coaches may have been concerned about him guarding a taller Raptor, the same big guy also had to get out deeper on the court to check Harangody.
“He can do that. That’s the one thing we knew,” said Rivers. “And when he slows down like he did today, he makes those shots.
“You know, every time he makes a shot, the legend of Luke grows in a lot of ways. You know, we laugh, but it does. Next game you’ll hear the other (team) yelling, ‘Get back out to him. Get back out to him.’ And that creates space for (Rajon) Rondo and everybody else.”
Herald – Luke Harangody feels a force
It's all gravy… That's the best way to describe productive minutes from Luke Harangody.
You could say 17 points and 11 rebounds is the gravy, biscuit, desert and after-dinner drink.
Anything that limits the minutes of the big guns (especially during tough stretches) helps this team.

On Page 2, Jermaine's knee is sore… again.
Celtics reserve center Jermaine O'Neal sat out the second half of Friday's game with left knee soreness, an injury that has already sidelined him for 20 games this season.
“His knee was sore, so I knew in the second half I wasn’t going to go with him," said Celtics coach Doc Rivers. "And we had a lead, so we just looked at it and, if we could get him through this game and maybe play him tomorrow, it would be great."
O'Neal's status for Saturday's game in Chicago is uncertain. He sat out the second half of a loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 8, then missed the next 19 games as he rehabbed a surgically repaired knee that's hindered him in the latter stages of his career.
"[The knee] was a little sore before the game, but at halftime he came to me and said, ‘Man, my knee’s sore,’" said Rivers. "I think his knee’s sore for the rest of his life. But there’s going to be different degrees of pain."
It doesn't sound like Jermaine has much time left in the NBA. Tape that sucker together and hope it holds through June. Or at least until Perk returns in a few weeks. Did you hear? KG might be back Monday.
