Your Morning Dump… Where Udonis Haslem is busted for pot

Every
morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here…
highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as
satisfying as a good morning dump.

An FHP trooper pulled over Haslem, 30, who had been driving east
in his 2008 Mercedes-Benz, after he was clocked going 78 mph in a 60 mph
zone, Wysocky said.

The trooper smelled marijuana in the vehicle, FHP said. After a
search, Haslem and his passenger, Antwain Fleming, were arrested and
charged with marijuana possession, Wysocky said.

Haslem was also was cited for illegal window tint.

Miami Herald – Haslem nabbed on pot charge

Why do we care about Haslem's arrest? Because he's an integral part of the evil Miami Heat and likely be suspended for the season opener vs the Celtics.

Haslem was charged with
"possessing more than 20 grams of marijuana, a third-degree felony which
could bring maximum punishments of a $5,000 fine and a five-year prison
sentence." There is no way a guy with his legal defense means goes to jail, especially if this is his first offense.

On Page 2, remember when Rondo was on the Team USA roster bubble?

Celtic Nation has nothing to worry about.

Rajon Rondo has not only secured a spot on the 12-man roster, he is pegged now as the team's starting point guard.

Although officials haven't indicated who is on the bubble for not being
added to the 12-man roster, all indications point toward the next
player cut will be either Stephen Curry of Golden State, Eric Gordon of
the Los Angeles Clippers or Russell Westbrook of Oklahoma City.

CSNNE – Team USA has one more cut

Way to go, Rondo!
