You’ve got to accentuate the positive

I am trying not to panic yet. I need to remember we are only 10 games into a very long season. There’s what… 72 games left to play?

There is plenty of time for the guys to click and start winning games. We can still make the playoffs. If there were just 10 games left, I would be in panic mode. I am going to try to look at all the positives going on right now.

  1. Doan is back and we need his leadership on and off the ice.
  2. Ebbett was sent down and Hanzal is expected back in the line up.
  3. Pru has been playing (this may be a postivie only for me hah)
  4. The PP looks better than previous years. The goals will come.
  5. OEL is the future.
  6. Our PK is doing really well considering all the penalties we’ve been taking.
  7. Snoop Dogg is a fan.
  8. We have 9 points in 10 games – not as bad as NJ with 7 points in 13 games. We are not the worse team.
  9. There was a commercial on during How I Met Your Mother. Prime time. More then just hockey fans watch HIMYM.
  10. There was a client wearing a Coyotes tshirt and hat at work today. I am also seeing more cars with the Coyotes window cling/sticker lately.
  11. We have some players that always seem to give more than 100%. No. Matter. What.
  12. Tippett is willing to try new line combinations to get the boys to click but does it with more finese than Gretzky could ever manage.
  13. Other people are recognizing the talent we have here. There have been several trade rumors involving Yandle. I don’t see him actually going anywhere (*ahem GMDM ahem*) but I see why people would want him.
  14. Hulsizer is still attending games. I take that as he is still buying the team.
  15. There is still plenty of hockey to be played.
See? He loves us. From the AZCentral.com

That is my list. We have a great group of guys; we just need to find that winning combination.

What do you think? What your your positivs for the season so far? They can be anything, whatever keeps you going. We always need to look on the brightside. It can be hard at times but I believe positive thinking can make a difference.
