Dallas Cowboys Futures Odds

Dallas finished with a 12-5 record last season.

The Cowboys went 6-0 against the division in 2021 and made the NFL Playoffs for the first time since 2018.

It will be a difficult task for Prescott to win 12 games again this year. With fewer weapons on offense and a banged-up offensive line, the Cowboys’ offense could take a step back in 2022.

Despite some early-season injuries, the top online sportsbooks are projecting the Dallas Cowboys for 10 wins this year. Over 10 wins is set at +100 odds while under 10 wins is set at -130.

This means that the top sportsbooks are projecting Dallas to win fewer than 10 games .

According to the best NFL betting sites, Dallas has the best chance to win the NFC East at +140 odds. The Cowboys also have the 11th best chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy, with +2200 odds to win the Super Bowl.

Dallas Cowboys Prediction

Last season, the Cowboys rode an undefeated NFC East record to 12-5 mark and its first playoff berth in three years.

In 2022, Dallas is still favored to win the division and could easily go 4-2 or better against division opponents.

The first two weeks bring tough home matchups. The Cowboys kick the season off versus Tampa Bay and then face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2.

Weeks 3 and 4 bring two winnable division contests.

A road matchup against the New York Giants in Week 3 and a home matchup against the Washington Commanders in Week 4 could have the Cowboys sitting pretty in the NFC East standings though four games.

Things will get tougher from there though, as the next two contests will be difficult road games against the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles.

After getting a week off in Week 9, Dallas should be able to finish the season strong with six winnable games down the stretch of the regular season schedule.

Here is a list of possible wins for the Cowboys in 2022:

  • Week 3 @ New York Giants
  • Week 4 vs Washington Commanders
  • Week 7 vs Detroit Lions
  • Week 8 vs Chicago Bears
  • Week 12 vs New York Giants
  • Week 13 vs Indianapolis Colts
  • Week 14 vs Houston Texans
  • Week 15 @ Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Week 16 vs Philadelphia Eagles
  • Week 18 @ Washington Commanders

The 10-win total seems perfectly set for the Cowboys.

While it seems likely that Dallas will win 10 or more games, the smarter bet would be to put your money on the under. The Cowboys’ defense is expected to regress in a few key areas this season and won’t be able to generate takeaways at the same rate in 2022.

That, combined with a weaker record versus division opponents should be enough to keep the Cowboys under double-digit wins this year.

Take the under 10 wins for Dallas in 2022.
