Kansas City Chiefs Futures Odds
Last season, Kansas City finished first in the AFC West with a 12-5 record but failed to make it back to the Super Bowl. The Chiefs went 5-1 against division opponents but they might have a hard time duplicating that mark this year.
The Broncos, Raiders, and Chargers all made significant improvements in the offseason, which is expected to make the AFC West the best division in the NFL.
The Chiefs traded away Tyreek Hill over the summer but they still have tight end Travis Kelce and got three weapons to replace Hill. While their dominance over division opponents may not be as strong this season, the Chiefs are still the team to beat in the AFC West.
At +180 odds, the Chiefs own the best AFC West odds and Kansas City also owns the third best Super Bowl odds at +1000.
The top offshore sportsbooks are also projecting the Kansas City Chiefs for 10.5 wins in 2022. Over 10.5 wins is set at -140 odds while the under is set at +110.
In order to win the division, Kansas City will likely have to win 11 games or more, which should make the AFC West odds a bit more attractive for Chiefs fans.

Kansas City Chiefs Team Wins
Last season, the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC West with a 12-5 record. The Chiefs made it to the AFC Championship Game but had a second-half meltdown and lost to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Following the loss, Kansas City traded away its star WR in Tyreek Hill. To replace him, they brought in a trio of players in Juju Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and rookie Skyy Moore.
While the offense could see a drop off without Hill on the roster, the top sports betting apps are still predicting a strong season for the Chiefs.
Kansas City is projected for 10.5 wins in 2022.
Over 10.5 wins is set at -140 odds, suggesting the Chiefs will win 11 or more games this season. Meanwhile, under 10.5 wins is set at +110 odds.

Kansas City Chiefs Prediction
Following a disappointing AFC Championship Game loss to the Bengals, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will be out for revenge in 2022.
The AFC West is the best division in football with four possible playoff teams, so the Chiefs may not dominate the division as they have for the last couple of seasons.
With that being said, the Chiefs remain the team to beat in the AFC West.
Kansas City usually starts the season hot and the Chiefs get three winnable matchups in Weeks 1-3 that can get them off to a 3-0 start.
The Chiefs open the season on the road in Arizona against the Cardinals. Then, Kansas City will host the LA Chargers in Week 2 before traveling to Indianapolis for a date against Matt Ryan and the Colts.
While these games won’t be easy, the Chiefs will likely be favored in all three games.
Before a Week 8 bye, Kansas City will face arguably its most difficult stretch of games in Weeks 4-7. Week 4 bring a road matchup against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucs. Then, KC will host the Raiders and Bills in Week 5 and 6 before taking on the 49ers in San Francisco in Week 7.
After the bye week, the Chiefs will get two favorable home matchups against the Titans and the Jaguars in Week 9 and 10.
Things will start to get tougher from there though.
In Week 11, Kansas City will travel on the road for a matchup against the Chargers before taking on the defending Super Bowl Champion LA Rams at home in Week 12. After the Rams, the Chiefs will face the Bengals in Cincinnati in Week 13 in a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship Game.
After that, the Chiefs will finish off that stretch with a Week 14 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
Those games are followed by winnable contests against the Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans.
Finally, Kansas City ends off the season with AFC West clashes against the Broncos and Raiders.
Here is a list of possible wins for the Chiefs in 2022:
- Week 1 @ Arizona Cardinals
- Week 2 vs Los Angeles Chargers
- Week 3 @ Indianapolis Colts
- Week 5 vs Las Vegas Raiders
- Week 9 vs Tennessee Titans
- Week 10 vs Jacksonville Jaguars
- Week 15 @ Houston Texans
- Week 16 vs Seattle Seahawks
- Week 17 vs Denver Broncos
- Week 18 @ Las Vegas Raiders
Kansas City has 10 games that they should win.
Led by the combination of Mahomes and Andy Reid, the Chiefs will also win their fair share of tough games in 2022, so there should be some value on the over here.
Do not bet against the Chiefs this year

2022 Kansas City Chiefs Regular Season Schedule
Based on projected win totals, Kansas City will have the toughest schedule in the NFL this season.
The relative strength of the AFC West plays a big part in that ranking, as the division has four teams that have a legitimate chance to make the NFL Playoffs in 2022.
But with Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, the Chiefs should be perfectly fine.
The Chiefs still have the best QB and head coach in the AFC West. That is always a recipe for success in the NFL, where continuity is very hard to come by.
While the Chiefs have a tough all around slate of games, the fate of their season will ultimately be decided by how they perform in the AFC West.
Games against the Chargers and Broncos could determine the division while a Week 6 battle against the Buffalo Bills will serve as an early season litmus test for Kansas City.
