Los Angeles Rams Division Odds

Last year, the NFC West race went down to the wire.

Los Angeles won the NFC West with a 12-5 overall record, as the division sent three teams to the NFL Playoffs in 2021.

The NFC West is expected to be one of the best divisions in the NFL once again in 2022..

Arizona, Los Angeles, and San Francisco all have Super Bowl aspirations but they will first have to battle for supremacy in the division race.

The Rams are once again favored to win the NFC West at +130 odds but the 49ers (+200) and Cardinals (+285) aren’t far behind.

Los Angeles Rams Team Wins

The top online gambling sites are predicting that Los Angeles Rams will take a step back this season.

After finished last season with a 12-5 regular season record, Los Angeles is projected for 10.5 wins in 2022.

Left tackle Andrew Whitworth retired and veteran defensive end Von Miller left to play with Josh Allen and the Bills in Buffalo. However, the Rams are still well-positioned to defend their Super Bowl title.

Los Angeles returned most of the major contributors from its Super Bowl winning team but lost Robert Woods and Odell Beckham Jr. on the outside. Instead, the Rams opted for dynamic wide receiver Allen Robinson, who should help keep opposing defenses from zeroing in on Cooper Kupp.

The biggest question for the Rams’ offense will be how they will look under first-year offensive coordinator Liam Cohen. Cohen, a former wide receiver coach with the Rams, will take over the OC job from Kevin O’Connell, who moved on to be the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings.

Originally, Cohen left the Rams to become the offensive coordinator for the University of Kentucky, where he guided the Wildcats offense to 31.8 points per game, which ranked 38th in the country. The Wildcats also ranked fifth in the nation with a 50.5 percent conversion rate on third down.

On defense, Los Angeles added Bobby Wagner and Troy Hill to bolster a unit that took a step back last season. In 2021-2022, the Rams were a middle-of-the-pack defense, finishing 15th in the NFL in scoring defense at 21.9 points per game.

Los Angeles Rams Prediction

The Rams are projected for 10.5 wins in 2022 but that number might be set a bit high.

According to win total projections from the best NFL betting sites, Los Angeles is set to face the second-hardest schedule this year.

Los Angeles still plays in the NFC West, one of the best divisions in football. The Rams will also be up against several playoff-caliber teams from outside of the NFC West this year and the timing of their matchups could complicate things even further.

By the time Week 10 comes to a close, the Rams will have played the 49ers and Cardinals twice each. During that span, Los Angeles will also take on Buffalo, Dallas, and Tampa Bay.

The Rams also end the season by playing five of their final seven games against potential playoff teams, making a seven-loss season a real possibility in Los Angeles.

Take the Rams to finish under 10.5 wins in 2022.

Los Angeles Rams Schedule and Results

Los Angeles Rams football is finally back.

Following the franchise’s first Super Bowl victory since 2000, Los Angeles enters the 2022 NFL season with high expectations.

The biggest news during the offseason has been the health of starting quarterback Matthew Stafford’s arm.

Stafford reportedly is dealing with elbow pain similar to that of a baseball pitcher. Rather than have surgery, Stafford will try to play through the pain, though it remains to be seen how the injury will affect him throughout the season.

Find out the Rams schedule, results, and how to watch the games during the NFL preseason below.

2022 L.A. Rams Preseason Schedule

The Rams opened the preseason with a 29-22 victory against the rival Los Angeles Chargers.

Backup quarterback Bryce Perkins completed 10-of-17 passes for 187 yards with two touchdowns and also led the team in rushing with 39 yards and a score on the ground. Rookie receiver Lance McCutcheon caught five balls for 87 yards and two touchdowns, including an impressive one-handed catch.
