The Vikings have had a confusing offseason.
Instead of rebuilding, general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah made it clear that Minnesota is in win-now mode.
Fresh off of an 8-9 season, the Vikings are looking to continue building around quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Over the summer, Minnesota added a bunch of veterans in free agency and made questionable draft day trades.
However, the Vikings did turn a new leaf by completely gutting their coaching staff.
Despite their coaching staff purge, the Vikings are projected at 9.5 wins and own the second best odds to win the NFC North at +235.
At +3300, the Vikings also own the 16th best odds to win the Super Bowl heading into Week 1.

Minnesota Vikings Super Bowl Odds
The Minnesota Vikings are a middle of the pack team and didn’t do much to change that during the offseason.
While their Super Bowl aspirations might have to wait another year, the Vikings could have a shot at the playoffs in January based on their regular season schedule.
According to the best offshore sports betting sites, the Vikings have +3300 odds to win the 2023 Super Bowl, good for 16th in the league.

Minnesota Vikings Division Odds
It’s been five years since the Minnesota Vikings have sat on top of the NFC North.
The Vikings finished second in the division last year, losing only to the Green Bay Packers.
However, the best sports betting apps have the same fate for the Vikings this year with the Packers being the overwhelming favorite to win the division with -175 odds.
The Vikings check in with +235 odds to win the NFC North.

The best NFL betting sites have set the Vikings win total at 9.5 wins.
The Vikings went 4-2 last year in the NFC North, dropping only one game to the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers. However, during the offseason the Vikings haven’t gained much ground. With a change in coaching staff, Minnesota fans will be in for the same lackluster season as the Vikings are projected to be mid-pact.
While the Vikings are long shots to win the division, their best chance to get into the playoffs is winning games on their schedule for a wild card spot.
In a pick’em style, the Vikings have -115 odds to be over or under 9.5 wins.

Minnesota Vikings Odds Play Over 9.5 Wins -115 Under 9.5 Wins -115 Minnesota Vikings Prediction
Minnesota went 8-9 last season and 4-2 in one of the easiest divisions in the NFC other than the Green Bay Packers.
However, things are looking up in the NFC North as the Chicago Bears look to regain traction after multiple injuries in 2021 and Detroit looks to make headway with the No.2 overall 2022 draft pick.
While no one in the NFC North is as good as the Packers, the Vikings will be going up against better opponents this year in the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears.
The season should start off easy for the Vikings, where they could easily go 5-1 right up to their bye week. But after Week 7, the Vikings’ schedule takes a turn for the worst as they take on four Super Bowl contenders in a span of six weeks.
The Vikings also end the season with all their division games on the road. With a tough finish for the 2022 NFL regular season, it’s easy to see the Vikings’ dropping some games late in the season, like we saw last year.
Take the Minnesota Vikings under 9.5 wins.
