Seattle Seahawks Futures Odds

After trading their franchise quarterback and key pieces on their defense, the Seahawks will be embarking on an all-out rebuild in 2022.

Head coach Pete Carroll fired long-time defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr after four years in Seattle.

However, the most significant loss was franchise quarterback Rusell Wilson and fellow future Hall of Fame linebacker Bobby Wagner, who will be playing for division rival Los Angeles Rams.

With the Seahawks rebuilding, they will be the weakest team in the NFC West, by far, this season. Following a 7-10 campaign a year ago, the Seahawks go into the 2022 NFL season among the teams with the worst Super Bowl odds at +12500.

Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl Odds

The Seahawks are projected to be one of the worst teams in the NFL this year.

While Drew Locke will most likely be starting quarterback, he will be competing in one of the toughest NFL divisions. The best NFL betting sites have the Seahawks at +12500 to win the 2023 Super Bowl.

Seattle Seahawks Division Odds

Last season marked the first time in 20 years that the Seahawks finished in last place in the NFC West and the outlook in Seattle isn’t looking any brighter in 2022.

The NFC West is expected to be among the best divisions in the NFL once again this year. In 2021, three teams from the NFC West made it to the playoffs.

All three of those teams (Arizona, Los Angeles, and San Francisco) have Super Bowl aspirations in 2022, which means Seattle will likely struggle to find its footing in the red-hot division.

With +1200 odds to win the division, the best US sports betting sites have the Seahawks finishing last in the NFC West. While that comes as no surprise, the rebuilding Seahawks will also have to navigate through the 11th hardest schedule in the NFL.

Seattle Seahawks Team Wins

The best offshore betting sites have Seattle projected at 5.5 wins this season.

While the franchise looks to rebuild after the loss of Russell Wilson, they still are in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL.

Not only do they have to play the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers and reigning Super Bowl Champions Los Angeles Rams twice but the Seahawks will also meet with the Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers at some point in the season.

With a tough schedule on tap for the 2022 NFL season, it’s easy to see why the rebuilding Seahawks are only projected for 5.5 wins.

Seattle Seahawks Prediction

Despite having the easiest schedule in the NFC West, the Seahawk are still playing against primarily playoff teams.

The departures of Wilson and linebacker Bobby Wagner will hurt the Seahawks on both sides of the ball. Former Broncos second-round pick Drew Lock will be tasked with leading the Seahawks’ offense, which still features some talented playmakers at wide receiver in DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

Aside from the six division games on the schedule, the Seahawks will also face five other Super Bowl contending teams in 2022, including Kansas City, Tampa Bay, Las Vegas, Denver and the Los Angeles Chargers.

There are only going to be six games on Seattle’s schedule where they won’t be considered a major underdog. With major question marks on offense, it’s hard to envision a scenario where Seattle wins more than 5 games this season.

Unless head coach Pete Carroll can pull off a miracle and resuscitate Lock’s career, it will be hard for the Seahakws to save their season. As a result, our NFL experts at The Sports Daily project Seattle for a maximum of five wins in 2022.

Take the Seattle Seahawks to finish under 5.5 wins.

Seattle Seahawks Next Game Pick

The Seattle Seahawks will enter Week 10 as one of the most surprising teams in the NFL.

Seattle (6-3) owns a 1.5-game advantage over the San Francisco 49ers for first place in the NFC West. Perhaps even more surprising, Geno Smith is among the league-leaders in yards, touchdowns, completion percentage, and QBR.

On the other hand, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are off to a disappointing 4-5 start. Since coming back from retirement, Tom Brady has been unable to rekindle the magic that he’s enjoyed in Tampa Bay.

While the Bucs’ defense has played well, Tampa Bay’s offense has struggled to move the ball consistently, especially on the ground. Tampa Bay is averaging a league-low 60.7 rushing yards per game and it ranks 25th in the league at just 18.0 points per game.

With this game being played in Germany, it’s hard to see the Bucs turning things around in this one.

Take Seattle to cover the spread in Munich on Sunday.

Seattle Seahawks Schedule and Results

According to the top NFL betting sites, Seattle fans are in for another losing season.

With the departures of Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner, the Seahawks’ offense will turn to a new leader in third year quarterback Drew Lock.

Expectations are not high in Seattle and for good reason. The Seahawks play in the NFC West, one of the toughest divisions in football and will be forced to play the 49ers, Rams, and Cardinals twice this season.

While most NFL experts have already counted Seattle out of the playoff race, the Seahawks will be playing with house money in 2022.

As long as Carroll is on the sidelines, the Seahawks will be well-prepared, which will make them a dangerous team to play against on any given week.

Find out the Seahawks schedule, results, and how to watch the games during the NFL preseason below.

2022 Seattle Seahawks Preseason Schedule

The Seahawks lost their first game in the 2022 NFL preseason. They lost 23-32 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Both Drew Lock and Geno Smith threw for over 100 yards. Lock threw two touchdowns on 11-of-15 completions.

2022 Seattle Seahawks Regular Season Schedule

The Seahawks start their season at home against the Denver Broncos but the three of their first five games will be away from Lumen Field.

The Seahawks have a bye week in the middle of the year in Week 11, but from there, things start to get tricky.

The first part of the season will be considered an easier stretch for Seattle, as the Seahawks play Atlanta, Detroit, New York and New Orleans during that span.

Key Seahawks Games to Watch in 2022

Then, the team will have a week off to prepare for a gauntlet of games during the final weeks of the regular season.

Six of Seattle’s last seven games will be against teams expected to make the NFL Playoffs. While the Seahawks aren’t playoff contenders, they will have a chance to sway the NFC West at the end of the season.

Seattle Seahawks Roster

After a decade with Russell Wilson under center, the Seahawks are going to look a little different this year. Former Broncos’ quarterback Drew Lock is expected to get his chance to shine as an NFL starter in Seattle.

On the bright side, the receiving talent is still there. With D.K Metcalf and Tyler Lockett running routes on the outside, Lock should be able to find some success throwing the ball with the Seahawks. Lock will also have the benefit of throwing to former Broncos’ tight end Noah Fant, who came over to Seattle with him in the deal with Denver.

While the Seahawks have a tough schedule, expect to see at least a few highlights of Metcalf, Lockett, and Fant shaking defenders throughout the season.

The playmakers don’t stop there either.

Running back Rashaad Penny, who came on strong at the end of last season, is expected to take over the starting job from now-retired Chris Carson. The team also used a second-round pick to draft running back Kenneth Walker III out of Michigan State.
