Tennessee Titans Futures Odds

Projected for 9.5 wins, the Titans are expected to be in the hunt for a playoff spot in the AFC.

While Tennessee is expected to finish with double-digit wins, the Titans aren’t among the list of Super Bowl 2023 contenders, according to the top online sportsbooks.

Tennessee will enter the year with +4000 odds to win the Super Bowl, which is tied with the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins for 18th in the NFL.

After winning the AFC South in each of the last two seasons, the Titans have the second-best odds to win the division at +180.

Tennessee Titans Super Bowl Odds

After a tumultuous offseason, Tennessee enters the year as a long shot to win the Super Bowl.

At +4000 odds, the Titans are among the most undervalued teams in the NFL heading into Week 1.

While Tennessee lost wide receiver AJ Brown during the offseason, the front office did a good job of reloading the roster.

Surrounded by a mix of veteran playmakers and young talent, Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry should be able to keep the Titans in the mix for an AFC playoff spot.

Tennessee Titans Prediction

To the surprise of most NFL fans, the Titans sent AJ Brown packing to Philadelphia during the offseason.

In 2021, Tennessee struggled with its pass blocking, which led to a down season from quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

The Titans also struggled with injuries, especially at the wide receiver position.

AJ Brown played just 51 percent of snaps in 2021 while No. 2 wide receiver Julio Jones played just 33 percent of snaps, leaving Tannehill with few options to throw to on the outside.

That will change in 2022, as the Titans brought in wide receiver Robert Woods and tight end Austin Hooper on free agent deals. Tennessee also picked wide receiver Treylon Burks in the first round of the NFL Draft, giving Tannehill more than enough weapons to keep the Titans competitive in the AFC South.

Based on NFL win total projections, the Titans’ schedule ranks 21st in the NFL in terms of overall toughness.

However, a quick glance at the schedule reveals a handful of winnable games at the beginning and end of the schedule.

Tennessee should be able to enter its Week 6 bye with at least three wins. The Titans will also finish off the year by playing Houston and Jacksonville (twice) in the final five weeks of the season.

That means getting to 10 wins will require Tennessee to go at least 3-4 between Weeks 7-13. During that span, the Titans will play six playoff-contending teams in seven games, including matchups versus the Chiefs, Broncos, Packers, and Bengals.

But with a home game versus the Colts and an easy win against the Texans on the schedule during that span, a 3-4 record doesn’t seem far out of reach.

Take the Titans to win over 9.5 games in 2022.

Tennessee Titans Next Game Pick

The Tennessee Titans will travel on the road to Indianapolis for an AFC South showdown against the division-rival Colts.

After surviving last week versus the Las Vegas Raiders, the Titans will enter this contest in a must-win situation for the second consecutive week.

The Colts have struggled to score points with Matt Ryan under center this season, averaging a meager 13.3 points per game, which is good for dead-last in the NFL.

Perhaps even more alarming, Indianapolis has struggled to run the football, ranking in the bottom half of the league in rushing offense.

That should open the door for the Titans, who will be the more desperate team in this one.

Take Tennessee to cover the spread on the road in Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon.

Tennessee Titans Schedule and Results

The NFL schedule makers were not kind to Tennessee this season.

Despite playing in one of the easiest divisions in football, the Titans’ regular season schedule ranks among the most difficult in the league

Scroll down below for a complete breakdown of the Titans’ preseason and regular season schedule.

2022 Tennessee Titans Preseason Schedule

Tennessee finished the preseason with a 2-1 overall record.

Titans fans got a glimpse of the future with third-round pick Malik Willis getting the majority of snaps under center during the exhibition schedule.

However, it wasn’t all roses in Tennessee.

Losing edge rusher Harold Landry to a season-ending ACL injury during the preseason was a major blow for the Titans.

Landry finished 10th in the NFL with 12 sacks in 2021 and earned himself a contract extension in the offseason.

Find out the Titans’ schedule, results, and how to watch the games during the NFL preseason below.

2022 Tennessee Titans Regular Season Schedule

Tennessee will open the regular season with a winnable game at home against the New York Giants, but things get a little dicey from there.

In Week 2, the Titans travel to Buffalo for a litmus test against the Super Bowl favorite Buffalo Bills.

Then, Tennessee will play Las Vegas, Indianapolis, and Washington in consecutive weeks before getting a perfectly timed Week 6 bye.

That gives head coach Mike Vrabel an extra week to prepare for one of the Titans’ biggest games of the 2022 season — a second matchup versus the division rival Colts.

By the time Week 7 is over, Tennessee will have played Indianapolis twice, which could set the tone for the remainder of the Titans’ season.

After hosting Indianapolis at home, the Colts will travel to Houston for a matchup against the Titans before embarking on their toughest regular-season stretch.

Starting in Week 9, Tennessee will play Kansas City, Denver, Green Bay, Cincinnati, and Philadelphia for a total of five potential playoff teams in five weeks.

If the Titans can emerge from that gauntlet with a winning record, they will set themselves up nicely for a strong finish.

With two games versus Jacksonville and another against Houston on the schedule in the final five weeks, Tennessee should be well-positioned to contend for a playoff spot.

Tennessee Titans Roster

Tennessee has several new faces on the roster in 2022.

The Titans replaced several players at key skill positions on offense, including their starting tight end and top two wide receivers.

Robert Woods, Austin Hooper, and rookie Treylon Burks are among the players expected to make an impact in the Titans’ offense in 2022.

On defense, head coach Mike Vrabel will have to find a way to generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks without one of his best pass rushers.

Who will step up in Landry’s absence on defense?
