What to Expect at UFC Fight Night 111

Li Jingliang is set to face a fresh opponent for the UFC Fight Night 111 event that is set for next week.

Jonathan Meunier, welterweight, has undergone an injury which sees him out of the fight with Jingliang, and instead the latter will face off against Frank Camacho, a newcomer with a record of 20 MMA wins to 4 losses. Jingliang confirmed the change in fighters via Twitter after it was reported by Jingliang has a record of 12 MMA wins to 4 losses, and 4 UFC wins to 2 losses.

This Fight Night will occur on the 17th of June at the Singapore Indoor Stadium located in Kallang, and the entire card will stream on UFC Fight Pass as of 4:30 ET/1:30 am PT. The Jingliang/Camacho fight is set to take place during the prelims.

Jingliang Enjoying a Winning Streak

Jingliang is a 29-year old fighter from China, and is set to enter this matchup on the first winning streak he has enjoyed in the UFC.

Nicknamed The Leech, this fighter has managed to rack up back-to-back KO wins against Bobby Nash and Anton Zafir, which saw him break loose of the win 1/lose 1 trend that he had been following up until now.

The online betting NZ offers, as well as that for the rest of the world, is going to be offering some interesting odds for this fight, since the UFC is well-known for underdogs coming out on top. While Jingliang’s reputation may put him in good stead, betting on Camacho is also a very tempting idea.

Camacho is a 28-year old fighter from Guam who grew up in Saipan. He practices Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and bounced back from the elimination round of the Ultimate Fighter 16 in 2012. He enters the UFC on a 5 – 1 run with 5 stoppages, and, since he turned professional in 2005 at just 16-years old, has enjoyed a career which saw him take part in fights for Pacific Xtreme Combat and Rites of Passage 21. He has posted 18 stoppages which saw 15 KOs in 20 wins.
