Just to give you a contrasting point of view from the other side.&nbsp; If you are sabermetrically inclined, this one is for you.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>\n\t<strong>The Story:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fangraphs.com\/blogs\/index.php\/mike-trout-miguel-cabrera-and-measuring-value\/\">Comparing the different values of Trout and Cabrera.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>The Monkey Says:<\/strong> And now a more even-handed look and one that doesn&#039;t even really include WAR, which I know rankles the more traditional fan.&nbsp;&nbsp; It still seems clear to me that Trout should win in a landslide, but BBWAA writers are an odd bunch, so there is no guessing how they will come down on this.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>\n\t<strong>The Story:<\/strong> <a abotu his job security.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>The Monkey Says:<\/strong> I don&#039;t think this is lip service.&nbsp; We all know Scioscia&#039; one game at a time mantra, so I can&#039;t imagine he gets caught worrying about losing his job.&nbsp; Besides, he has to know damn well that he would be unemployed for all of an hour if the Angels do let him go.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>\n\t<strong>The Story:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbssports.com\/mlb\/blog\/jon-heyman\/20226522\/bobby-v-isnt-the-only-big-name-skipper-who-may-go-ozzie--others-on-bubble\">Jon Heyman believes that Mike Scioscia could be replaced since he and Jerry Dipoto don&#039;t have a great relationship.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>The Monkey Says:<\/strong> I have a hard time buying that.&nbsp; The only real evidence we have of a strained relationship is Dipoto firing Hatcher, Scioscia&#039; long-time friend.&nbsp; There is no evidence otherwise that Sosh and JeDi don&#039; get along.&nbsp; Heyman alludes to some nebulous rumors, but without something more concrete, I would chalk this up to nothing more than speculation.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>\n\t<strong>The Story:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/angels.ocregister.com\/2012\/09\/19\/can-weaver-reach-300-win-plateau\/125510\/\">Can Jered Weaver win 300 games?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>The Monkey Says:<\/strong> No.&nbsp; He can&#039;t.&nbsp; I highly doubt anyone will win 300 games for the next several decades.&nbsp; It just isn&#039;t feasible in this day of pitch counts and specialized bullpens.&nbsp; Besides, pitcher wins are wildly overrated, so who really cares?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>\n\t<strong>The Story:<\/strong> <a
