\n<\/a>The Monkey Says:<\/strong>\u00a0This is hard to know what to make of as Silver is supposedly a friend, but I always question how much of a friend someone can be when they go to a reporter like this. The suggestion isn’t without merit, but it seems pretty tactless to be encouraging this path via a national columnist.<\/p>\n

It isn’t a huge impact thanks to the acquisition of Matt Joyce, but it also means that the Halos\u00a0still need to fill at-bats at DH if Joyce is in the field.<\/p>\n

The Story:<\/strong>\u00a0If addiction is an illness, Josh Hamilton shouldn’t be suspended.<\/a>
\n<\/a>The Monkey Says:<\/strong>\u00a0Considering this is reportedly a one-time relapse and that Hamilton actively and publicly works on his recovery, any suspension would be punitive. This isn’t a case of needing to suspend a guy to give him a wake up call or\u00a0give him time to seek treatment. We will see if Commissioner Manfred agrees.<\/p>\n
