From there the Jets were able to ride a strong goaltending performance from Hellebuyck to the victory, and the Oilers are likely to face off against the perennial Vezina candidate once again in tonight\u2019s game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Oilers should come out of the gate a lot stronger tonight as Winnipeg has continued their winning streak against them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><b>KEYS TO THE GAME<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Edmonton<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Goaltending. Beyond the first goal of last game, there was a lot not to like from Koskinen. Still, he made some big saves to keep the score 1-0, but ultimately for a different result tonight the play in net will have to be stronger. It\u2019s good to see Skinner earning more trust, as it\u2019s not ideal to have most goalies (including Koskinen) start every game except back-to-backs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stay patient. The Jets are a stout team even before considering Hellebuyck, and well equipped to shut down, or at least frustrate, the Oilers potent attack. A consistent effort is always key, but to stay driven in productive ways will be key, as turning over into frustration or cheating for offence will do nothing but harm to the Oilers chances of winning.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Holiday shopping, for our good friends the refs. McDavid will sign the card but he will definitely not say anything.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Winnipeg<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Keep on keeping on. It is time for <\/span><b>Tyler Benson<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to start establishing himself with some authority as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Of course, seeing how <\/span><b>Skinner<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is able to rise to the occasion is huge, for tonight but also in the long run. Whether or not GM Holland is required to make a move to upgrade the position relies on many factors, from the health of Smith down to the play of Skinner. If he\u2019s able to earnestly push for Koskinen\u2019s job outright in the near future it becomes less likely to envision the Oilers making a move for goalie X, Y, or Z who might be available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Winnipeg<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: at this point we are pretty familiar with this Jets team. The Connor-Dubois and Scheifele-Ehlers tandems are both dangerous, but perhaps one of their best transactions in recent history has been the Trouba for <\/span><b>Pionk<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> deal with the Rangers.
