Whether it&#8217;s because he was the centerpiece in a trade that basically gift wrapped a championship for the Boston Celtics or because he hasn&#8217;t helped the Timberwolves get out of the lottery, no one realizes just how great Jefferson truly is.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In January things really began to look up for Jefferson&#8217;s Timberwolves. They went 10-4 and for the first time in a long time it appeared that Kevin McHale put together a squad capable of doing some things. Then tragedy struck in the form of a torn ACL for Jefferson that put his season to an end, and the Wolves as well for all intensive purposes.<\/em><br \/><em><br \/>Major changes are on the horizon in Minnesota. They&#8217;re on the verge of hiring a new General Manger and a new coach is sure to follow along with many personnel changes. One thing is certain though: Jefferson is going nowhere because he&#8217;s one of the premiere big men in the league.
