{"id":230966,"date":"2009-07-03T14:17:08","date_gmt":"2009-07-03T14:17:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vip.local\/2009\/07\/03\/the-ricky-rubio-situation\/"},"modified":"2009-07-03T14:17:08","modified_gmt":"2009-07-03T14:17:08","slug":"the-ricky-rubio-situation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesportsdaily.com\/news\/the-ricky-rubio-situation\/","title":{"rendered":"The Ricky Rubio Situation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>All this Rubio talk is driving me insane.\u00a0 I could post a thousand links from bloggers\/writers\/National Media from the past 2 weeks, but what&#8217;s the point?\u00a0 No one really knows what&#8217;s happening.\u00a0 It&#8217;s all pure speculation and innuendo.\u00a0 And it should really stop.\u00a0 Aren&#8217;t people\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration:line-through;\">going freaking\u00a0crazy<\/span>\u00a0bored and tired about commenting on the same tired speculation and quotes\u00a0over and over and over and over <span style=\"text-decoration:line-through;\">times infinity<\/span>?\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what I think about the situation:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Seriously.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s just all step back and relax. The situation will eventually resolve itself.\u00a0 It&#8217;s going to take some TIME.\u00a0 His buyout needs to be figured out with Joventut.\u00a0 Just take a breath and relax.\u00a0 If Rubio wants to play in the NBA, it will be with the Wolves (unless we stupidly trade him.)\u00a0 Time is on our side.\u00a0 Maybe he stays in Spain for another year or two, big deal.\u00a0 He&#8217;d only be 20 years old two years from now.\u00a0 The Wolves (and us fans) can afford to wait.\u00a0 As long as he doesn&#8217;t suffer a career ending injury, he&#8217;s only a BIGGER asset for our club in two years.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>We can all stop worrying and focus about more important things, namely, how the hell is this Wolves team going to win games next year?\u00a0 We need scoring.\u00a0 Heck, we need actual NBA players.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s just see what Kahn can do between now and when the season starts.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not overly confidant about our team next year, but I&#8217;m not going to waste time speculating on the Rubio situation.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>We might be the anti-Bulls next year (record = 10-72), but at least then we&#8217;ll have a better draft pick that we still don&#8217;t owe the LA Clippers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CW<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><br \/>[hype]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All this Rubio talk is driving me insane.\u00a0 I could post a thousand links from bloggers\/writers\/National Media from the past&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[605037453],"tags":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v23.2 (Yoast SEO v23.2) -
