Kahn said the two were in frequent contact last week and that he \u201chas a firm understanding of where we were.\u201d As for how long the Rubio situation will take to play out, Kahn said: \u201cI don\u2019t think it will last forever, but I don\u2019t have a feel for a timetable,\u201d though he added something could happen in the next couple of weeks.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>*The free agent signing period started today, and Kahn said the Wolves will be a \u201clate player\u201d in that realm.
