The power forward said he was not quite sure of the date for his next check up but anticipates a return to the floor soon.<\/em><\/p>\n “I’ve been shooting with the team a little bit, running through some plays, doing a lot more stuff, so hopefully on Friday we get the X-rays back. I don’t know when it’s going to happen, if we have them scheduled for this week, so hopefully that will be the time and I will be back.”<\/em><\/div>\n Miller’s $9.78 million income for this season was the highest salary moved by Kahn. Miller also had expressed a desire to leave, and Kahn was determined to build solid chemistry on the roster in addition to a more economical payroll.<\/em>
<\/a>With no intention of making a major trade this season, Kahn believes the Wolves could be as much as $20 million below next year’s cap, which has yet to be determined.<\/em><\/p>\n
“Miller and Foye were a little ahead of some of the guys we picked up, but you can’t keep adding players without eliminating some,” Kahn said. “Specifically to Miller and Foye, their long-term future with us was in doubt. If we kept both, we wouldn’t have the cap room we have now.” <\/em><\/div>\n
