{"id":234661,"date":"2016-07-13T12:15:41","date_gmt":"2016-07-13T16:15:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ultimatenyg.com\/uncategorized\/rashad-jennings-says-hes-entering-his-prime.html\/"},"modified":"2016-07-13T12:15:41","modified_gmt":"2016-07-13T16:15:41","slug":"rashad-jennings-says-hes-entering-his-prime","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesportsdaily.com\/news\/rashad-jennings-says-hes-entering-his-prime\/","title":{"rendered":"Rashad Jennings says he&#8217;s entering his prime"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In this week&#8217;s &#8220;If-a-tree-falls-in-the-forest&#8221; news, Giants running back Rashad Jennings told the NFL Network, via <a href=\"http:\/\/profootballtalk.nbcsports.com\/2016\/07\/13\/rashad-jennings-im-just-getting-into-my-prime\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pro Football Talk<\/a>, that he&#8217;s just getting into his prime.<\/p>\n<p>For anyone asking &#8220;Rashad Who?,&#8221; the 31-year-old Jennings is playing for his third NFL team and has never run for more than 863 yards or six touchdowns in a season.<\/p>\n<p>There is evidence that Jennings could be a late bloomer. He entered the NFL at age 24 and those 863 yards came last year, the first time in his career he played in and started 16 games. He averaged 108 yards over the last four games of the 2015 season, including 170 in the season finale against the Eagles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA pro really understands how to take care of his body, and he understands the X\u2019s and O\u2019s and can play the game before it happens,\u201d Jennings said. \u201cI\u2019ve been allowing my maturity to catch up.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jennings ran the ball 195 times last year, a career high. He&#8217;s had trouble staying healthy in his career.
