As I’m watching the Red Sox collapse in the American League East, I’ll give you an update tonight.<\/p>\n

Paulsen over at the Sports Media Blog notes that CBS’ The NFL Today has beaten Fox NFL Sunday for the second week in a row<\/a> and in the first two weeks of the NFL season, CBS is the big winner thus far.<\/p>\n Bruce Allen of the Boston Sports Media Watch site blasts Sports Illustrated<\/a> for its piling on Bill Belichick with an anecdote that was found to be false.<\/p>\n Matt Sussman of Blogcritics.com reviews the Big Ten Network<\/a>. He likes what he sees.<\/p>\n FSN Ohio has announced it will carry 75 games<\/a> of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets including 13 in HD.<\/p>\n Back up to Canada where TSN has announced it will carry 21 Toronto Raptors games<\/a> and 17 playoff games including the NBA Finals. William Houston of the Toronto Globe and Mail talks about CBC picking up the NBA<\/a> for the first time. And the Canadian Press looks at the breakdown of the 82 game schedule<\/a> for the Raptors’ TV partners.<\/p>\n Kendra Meinert of the Green Bay Press-Gazette writes a story about Frank Caliendo<\/a> who has his popular segment on Fox NFL Sunday and premieres a new sketch show on TBS later in the fall.<\/p>\n Mark Bowman of MLB.com writes about the return of Skip Carey to the Atlanta Braves broadcast booth<\/a>. Skip had congestive heart failure.<\/p>\n
