Nothing too substantive here, but a definite find for anyone in the Boston area. In Burlington, MA, about a 5 minute drive from the Burlington Mall (which, side note, is the only palatable thing featured in that stupid new Mall Cop movie), there’s a place called Used Book Superstore. It has a great selection of virtually any type of book you’d like, but more specifically a ton of baseball \/ Sox books. <\/p>\n
\nWe’ve taken a good half-dozen trips to the store to this point, and I’ve never left with fewer than a dozen books. I’ve managed to get Baseball Prospectus from 2002-2005, Bill James Historical Abstract, some Halberstam books, etc., all without ever paying more than $2.50 each.\n<\/p>\n
\nAnd, best of all, the books are all donated and all proceeds go to charity. There’s also one in Danvers that I have not yet visited, but I have to assume is just as good. Check it out, you won’t be sorry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
