Yeah, I know, a Lakers fan came up with the votes to win a <a href=\"http:\/\/projectspurs.com\/2009\/02\/07\/spurs-trade-deadline-challenge.html\">Project Spurs contest<\/a>. Unbelievable.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\" style=\"display:inline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/projectspurs.com\/assets_c\/2009\/02\/cy-11006.html\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/projectspurs.com\/assets_c\/2009\/02\/cy-thumb-300x195-11006.jpg\" alt=\"cy.jpg\" class=\"mt-image-left\" style=\"float:left;margin:0 20px 20px 0;\" width=\"300\" height=\"195\" \/><\/a><\/span>Cy Kirsch is a young baller at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elgin.k12.nd.us\/\/index.html\">Grant County High School<\/a>. It&#8217;s his senior year, and there are several colleges after all 6&#8217;8&#8243; of his talent. With a lot of luck, someday he might overcome all the odds and get to wear the Silver &amp; Black. Maybe.<\/p>\n<p>Cy won with a 3-way involving San Antonio, Utah, and the Clippers. A nice trade, which would have netted us the young talents of Thornton, even though it would be a long shot to convince everyone to do the deal.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\" style=\"display:inline;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Thumbnail image for trade1.png\" src=\"http:\/\/projectspurs.com\/assets_c\/2009\/02\/trade1-thumb-550x418-10711.png\" class=\"mt-image-center\" style=\"text-align:center;display:block;margin:0 auto 20px;\" width=\"550\" height=\"418\" \/><\/span>The Spurs were in a lot of rumors leading up to the deadline, but nothing came of them.
