We expect final numbers at 5 p.m. ET, but check out the preliminary viewership.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;text-align:center;\"><b><span class=\"releasehead\">27.7 Million Canadians Experience Vancouver 2010 on Day 2<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"text\"> <\/span><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"text\" style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">A total of 27.7 million Canadians, representing 83% of the population, experienced the 2010 Winter Games yesterday on the platforms of Canada\u2019s Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium, a figure even greater than Opening Day. The total CUME (Canadian Unique Multimedia Engagement) index through Day 2 of the Games is now 29.4 million Canadians, meaning 88% of the population has experienced the Consortium\u2019s coverage of Vancouver 2010 so far.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Very impressive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With CTV providing blanket coverage of the Winter Olympics, the viewership numbers are staggering.
