Toot Toot!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Spoiler alert<\/em>: I think the Bruins have some really, really good writers covering the team. Yes, there are a few bobos out there who think everything is awesome all the time, but there&#8217;s a good number of those covering the team who do a fantastic job. That said, most people who are given media credentials and cover the team also rarely go out of their way to say something bad out them.<\/p>\n<p>So when a different team&#8217;s media touts a Bruins&#8217; player, I take it with more than a grain of salt. When it comes from the awesome people\u00a0at <a href=\"http:\/\/section303.com\/\">Section 303<\/a>, I give them my full attention.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"All Aboard The David Pastrnak Hype Train. Toot Toot!\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/3Tjsv4L.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"458\" height=\"319\" \/><\/p>\n<p>With the Bruins sending their rookies down to Nashville to partake in a tournament with other rookies from Nashville, Tampa Bay and Florida. The Predatorial named their &#8220;All-Rookie Tournament Team&#8221; yesterday and a surprising name popped up:<\/p>\n<p>David Pastrnak.<\/p>\n<p>The Predatorial has done a great job covering the tournament and with each day posted some impressions.<\/p>\n<p>Day 1:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"color: #000000;\">The main thing I took away from game one between the Bruins and Panthers was that, outside of Boston\u2019s David Pastrnak, no one really impressed me. That includes Aaron Ekblad.<\/li>\n<li style=\"color: #000000;\">Pastrnak is definitely the real deal for the Bruins. Although he\u00a0was held off the scoresheet, including failing to convert a penalty shot, Pastrnak made the plays that showed why he was drafted 25th overall in the first round.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Day 2:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul style=\"color: #757474;\">\n<li style=\"color: #000000;\">David Pastrnak continues to demonstrate why the Bruins think so highly of him, finding himself all over the ice helping to produce many quality scoring chances for the Bruins.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And then comes where The Predatorial named their &#8220;All-Rookie Team&#8221;.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong style=\"color: #444444;\">F \u2013 David Pastrnak<\/strong>\u00a0(Boston) \u2013 arguably the best player on the ice for any of the four teams<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I know it is only the rookie tournament but when someone describes you as &#8220;the best player on the ice&#8221; is a pretty big thing when guys like Aaron Ekblad and highly touted Jonathan Drouin were participating.<\/p>\n<p>I know it is only the rookie tournament, but it is exciting to see a Bruins player getting a lot of praise from people outside of the usual media coverage.
