Granted, he scored one of the organization&#8217;s biggest playoff goals, but he certainly isn&#8217;t on the same level as Elliott who was with the Blues for five seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Realistically, the Blues were in an awkward spot considering both returned on the same night.\u00a0You can&#8217;t really mention Elliott without also thanking Brouwer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tuesday night&#8217;s loss to the Calgary Flames served as the homecoming for both Brian Elliott and Troy Brouwer.
