Before he left the game in the 6th he had struck out 12 batters. The Yankees came back in the 3rd with 3 runs again thanks to a Damon homer but that was all they would get in the game. Beckett had some rough patches but got the win. Oki pitched a hitless 7th and 8th and Saito pitched a scoreless 9th.
