Those who play fantasy baseball are constantly looking for the next big prospect to stash on their bench late in drafts or off the waiver wire in hopes that it&#8217;ll reap huge dividends down the line.<\/p>\n<p>Just think about how happy those who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.numberfire.com\/mlb\/news\/13017\/what-can-we-expect-from-adam-duvall-in-fantasy-baseball\">scooped up players like<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/d\/duvalad01.shtml\"><strong>Adam Duvall<\/strong><\/a> or\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/s\/sanchga02.shtml\"><strong>Gary Sanchez<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0were\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thesportsdaily.com\/chin-music-baseball\/gary-sanchezs-insane-month-of-august-is-among-the-best-this-decade\/\">right before<\/a> they went completely bonkers. That kind of waiver acquisition is quite literally a game-changer.<\/p>\n<p>So, who is going to be that player in 2017? It very well could be someone nobody is talking about at the moment, but there are a number of incoming rookies and top prospects poised to make an impact for the respective squads this season.<\/p>\n<p>I recently wrote an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.numberfire.com\/mlb\/lists\/12699\/fantasy-baseball-5-mlb-prospects-who-could-break-out-in-2017\">article for numberFire<\/a> detailing five young players with breakout potential. While\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/r\/reyesal02.shtml\"><strong>Alex Reyes<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is unfortunately already on the shelf because of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlbtraderumors.com\/2017\/02\/alex-reyes-to-undergo-tommy-john-surgery.html\">Tommy John surgery<\/a>,\u00a0catcher\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/m\/murphto04.shtml\">Tom Murphy<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>of the Colorado Rockies has an interesting case.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s flashed big power in limited big-league experience (.266\/.341\/.608 with 8 home runs and 22 RBI in 88 plate appearances since 2015), but is expected to share catching duties with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/w\/wolteto01.shtml\"><strong>Tony Wolters<\/strong><\/a> this season.<\/p>\n<p>Does he have breakout potential?
