LSU has elected to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theadvocate.com\/baton_rouge\/sports\/lsu\/article_135ad042-051e-11e7-a03f-435bbccb2856.html\">pay him $3.5 million per season<\/a>, with another $1.5 million that can be\u00a0earned through doing good football things, like finding a starting quarterback that did not transfer from Purdue.<\/p>\n<p><em>*With the exception of Ole Miss burning down its own house<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Even better for Orgeron,\u00a0his buyout\u00a0doesn&#8217;t dip below $4.5 million until 2021.
