\nAfter winning six of seven at home, the Chicago Cubs hit the road Sunday and Joe Maddon was up to his old tricks.<\/p>\n

The skipper allowed the team to forgo their normal travel wear and, instead\u2026wear football jerseys.<\/p>\n

From Tom Brady to Roger Staubach, all the gridiron greats (past and present) were represented. And, because Chicago, Dick Butkus<\/a><\/strong>, Gale Sayers<\/a><\/strong> and Mike Singletary<\/a><\/strong> jerseys were pulled from the mothballs. Maddon even got in the act by donning Mike Ditka\u2019s Number 89.<\/p>\n

But it was Bryzzo that won the day.<\/p>\n

First, was Kris Bryant. The reigning National League MVP went the cinematic route\u2026wearing the black and red \u201cMean Machine\u201d jersey popularized by Adam Sandler in \u201cThe Longest Yard.<\/p>\n
