He said last week he has no timetable for his return. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/rNegFaCJ5K\">pic.twitter.com\/rNegFaCJ5K<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Yaron Weitzman (@YaronWeitzman) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/YaronWeitzman\/status\/975476419034779649?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 18, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s hard not to respect Porzingis&#8217; competitive drive, but even though he&#8217;s wearing compression sleeves on both his knees &#8212; and a brace, we&#8217;re assuming &#8212; it seems way too early to be bending his knees like that.<\/p>\n<p>Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek downplayed the photo, and had this to say about it:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTechnically I don\u2019t know what he\u2019s allowed to do from the doctors,&#8221; he <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2018\/03\/20\/jeff-hornacek-really-trusts-rehabbing-kristaps-porzingis\/\">said<\/a>. &#8220;Once you have a surgery like that \u2014 I had not that extensive of a knee surgery \u2014 you want to get out there, you want to shoot. I\u2019m sure he\u2019s being smart about that stuff. If you\u2019re just standing there shooting that\u2019s not going to have any effect. As far as I know there\u2019s no basketball things he\u2019s involved with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ah, the Knicks.
