with every guy playing the game, and see who they&#8217;re playing with and what mistakes they&#8217;re having on offense and defense together. \u00a0Then, I will come together and decide on a group that I have to decide on&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Notes and Analysis<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Thornton may not like coming off the bench, but he should.\u00a0 The high scoring guard out of LSU was electric, leading all scorers with 23 in the victory.\u00a0 There is a good chance that Thornton will start the season as the Kings sixth man, but count on him finishing most games.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Jimmer struggled on the defensive end, but finished strong.\u00a0 The second-year guard played 16 minutes, finishing with 11 points on 3-for-6 shooting.\u00a0 In the waning moments, Jimmer stole a ball and hit both his freebies after getting fouled.\u00a0 Moments later, he\u00a0buried\u00a0a big three to ice the game.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/b\/brookaa01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-www.cowbellkingdom.com\" target=\"_blank\">Aaron Brooks<\/a><\/strong> started for the Kings and was stellar.\u00a0 On a team filled with offensive weapons, Brooks brings something different.\u00a0 He finished with 16 points on 6-for-8 shooting in just 21 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/c\/couside01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-www.cowbellkingdom.com\" target=\"_blank\">DeMarcus Cousins<\/a><\/strong> toyed with the Blazers.\u00a0 It didn&#8217;t matter who they threw at the Kings big man, he dominated them.\u00a0 For what it&#8217;s worth, Cousins gave <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/hicksjj01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-www.cowbellkingdom.com\" target=\"_blank\">J.J. Hickson<\/a><\/strong> an earful the entire game.\u00a0 You&#8217;re welcome Kings fans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/g\/garcifr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-www.cowbellkingdom.com\" target=\"_blank\">Francisco Garcia<\/a><\/strong> received a DNP-CD in game No. 1, but Monday, he came in and quickly hit two three-pointers and played tough, hard-nosed defense on Nic Batum.\u00a0 Cisco looked fresh and healthy, which is a good sign for the longest tenured King.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Stat of the Night:\u00a0<\/strong>Ten Kings recorded assists and the team finished with a total of 22.\u00a0 The ball is moving freely from one side of the court to the next.
