Will DeMarcus Cousins be able to go? Cousins was a beast on Tuesday night, but he injured his left shoulder in the first half and had to head to the locker room at one point for treatment. He tried wearing a protective undershirt, yet moments into the second half, he went back to the locker room and took it off. Cousins is tough, but he admitted after the win last night that he needed painkillers to get through the game. We probably won’t know until gametime if the Kings star center is available to go.

2. More Jimmer Fredette? Jimmer didn’t set the world on fire in his 14 minutes of action on Tuesday night, but he also didn’t cost the Kings the game. Three points and three assists aren’t big numbers, but Jimmer’s shooting ability opened up a lot of space for both Thomas and Cousins to work. Thornton had a nine-game run to show what he can do. It would be nice to see Jimmer consistent minutes two games in a row before passing judgement.

3. Is John Salmons’ career with the Kings all but over? It’s been a rough start to the 2013-14 season for Salmons. Mbah a Moute has taken his starting job and Travis Outlaw has stolen away the bench minutes. He has become a vocal leader in his advanced age, but he might have to continue that role from the bench from here on out.

[610259261
34017575,1205492,5204276,18641400,8150447,790026,610259429,2082268,5740622,5944924,610260315,66968821,76562,76563

Sacramento Kings Projected Starters (3-7)
