{"id":864064,"date":"2018-12-07T23:23:11","date_gmt":"2018-12-08T04:23:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thesportsdaily.com\/?p=864064"},"modified":"2018-12-07T23:23:11","modified_gmt":"2018-12-08T04:23:11","slug":"nets-fans-try-to-recruit-kawhi-leonhard-with-chant-during-game","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesportsdaily.com\/news\/nets-fans-try-to-recruit-kawhi-leonhard-with-chant-during-game\/","title":{"rendered":"Nets fans try to recruit Kawhi Leonhard with chant during game"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nets fans are in desperate need of a superstar, something they haven&#8217;t&#8217; had since moving to Brooklyn.<\/p>\n<p>The good news for them is that the team has been clearing cap room, and they&#8217;re one of the only teams that is able to sign not one, but two max players next summer if need be.<\/p>\n<p>For now, fans can only think about the future &#8212; doing all they can to help the team recruit talent going forward. That&#8217;s why when Kawhi Leonard and the Raptors came to town for Friday night&#8217;s game, Nets fans gave their best effort to recruit him, via these chants.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Block is chanting &quot;Uncle Dennis&quot; at Kawhi Leonard.
