The Islanders will be playing their games in Long Island once again at some point in the future, with the team recently announcing plans<\/a> to build a new $1 billion arena in Belmont Park, but for now, the team is stuck playing at the Barclays Center.<\/p>\n

Fans have complained about the team playing its games in Brooklyn, but they’ll have to stick it out for a few more years. Making matters worse, those who attended Wednesday’s game against the Golden Knights were stuck sitting through a delay in the dark, as the power went out unexpectedly right before the third period was set to begin.<\/p>\n
